Midwest Organic Solid-State Chemistry Symposium
June 19-20, 2015 – Purdue
West LaFayette, Indiana
Call for Papers
You are invited to attend the 25th MOSSCS to be held June 19 and 20 at Purdue University. The charter of MOSSCS is to provide opportunities to exchange ideas and research results pertaining to the organic solid state in an informal atmosphere, with an emphasis on presentations by graduate students and postdoctoral associates. There will also be invited lectures on topics of current interest.
Reports of research on organic materials dealing with crystal engineering, mixed crystals, polymorphism, solid-state synthesis and reactivity, host-guest chemistry, crystal growth, optical behavior, transport properties, pharmaceuticals, molecular recognition, critical behavior, and related properties are commonly presented at the MOSSC Symposium.
In honor of the retirement of Prof. Curtin and his contributions to solid-state chemistry, the first MOSSCS was held in 1988 at the University of Illinois. Subsequent meetings are rotated among universities and industrial sites in the Midwest. We are looking forward to meeting you in West Lafayette.
The registration fees will be used to cover the lunches, breaks, reception, and the dinner on Friday, as well as conference costs.
